Live Stream Music & Theater
- Check out The Social Distancing Festival, a site that gathers live streams and videos of all different types of performances in one place, on one calendar.
- Don’t miss Hang out at Home JAZZ HOUSE KiDS’ Friday Night Listening Party with our local award-winning musicians.
- On April 5, London Symphony Orchestra will stream a performance of Verdi’s Requiem.
- Enjoy full streams of some of the Vienna State Opera’s latest performances
- Barenaked Ladies will be performing concerts on their #SelfieJamCam YouTube channel.
Dance
- The Alvin Ailey Dance Company will offer videos of performances this week starting with its most well-known work, “Revelations.” Full length performances will stream on Thursdays, and clips made by dancers at home will be included in a series called #TheShowMustGoOn.
- Dj D-Nice, whose star-studded Instagram parties have drawn everyone from Rihanna to Joe Biden, will put on his next #ClubQuarantine Party on April 4 at 7 pm
Film & TV
- Each Sunday, The Montclair Film Discover Together program, shares a weekly schedule and encourages everyone to watch along at home on your own time, on the device of your choice (each film is available on one of the popular streaming services), and share your thoughts online by tagging them @MontclairFilm
- Conan O’Brien joins other late night hosts to shoot episodes of his TBS show, Conan from home, airing nightly at 11 pm.
Social Distance Events
- Open your favorite Montclair Brewery beer and join our local brewery for their first live Montclair Brewery Virtual Happy Hour on Zoom on Friday, April 3 from 6 pm – 7:30 pm.
